Since you've been gone since you've been gone. [00:03:07] Speaker C: We were both. You look young. When I first saw you, I closed my eyes and the flashback starts? I'm standing there on a balcony in summer air. See the light, see the party, the ball gowns? See you make your way through the crowd and say hello? Little did I know that you throwing pebbles? And my daddy said, stay away from Juliet. And I was crying on the staircase begging you please don't go? And I said, let's take me somewhere. [00:03:56] Speaker B: We can be alone? [00:03:58] Speaker C: I'll be waiting. All this has to do is run? You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess? It's a love story, baby, just say yes? So I sneak out to the garden to see you? We keep quiet cause we're dead? If they knew? So close your eyes, escape this town. [00:04:25] Speaker B: For a little while? [00:04:29] Speaker C: Cause you were only oh, I was a scarlet letter? And my daddy said, stay away from Juliet? But you were everything to me? I was begging you, please don't go? And I said, know me or take me somewhere we can be alone? I'll be waiting. All there's left to do is run? You be the prince and I'll be the princess? It's a love story, baby, just say yes? When we all say? They're trying to tell me how to feel? This love is difficult? But it's a real. Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess? It's a love story, baby, just say. [00:05:17] Speaker B: Yes. [00:05:33] Speaker C: I got tired of waiting wondering if you were ever coming around my faith in when I met you on the outskirts of town and I said, will me. You saved me I've been feeling so alone I keep waiting for you but you never come as this in my head I don't know what to think he knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said, marry me, Juliet. You never have to be alone. I love you and that's all I remember I talk to your dad go pick out a white dress we were both young when I first saw you. [00:06:44] Speaker D: Stacy's mom has got it going on Stacy's mom has got it going on Stacy's mom has got it going on Stacy's mom has got it going on Stacy, can I come over after school? After school? We can hang around hang by the poo boo boo boo boo boo boo hang by the pool did your mom get back from her business trip? Business trip? Is she there or is she trying to give me the slip? Give me the slip. You know I'm not the little boy that I used to be I'm all grown up now, baby, can't you see? Stacey's mom has got it going on? She's all I want and I've waited for so long Stacy, can't you see? You're just not the girl for me? [00:07:52] Speaker E: I know it might be wrong but. [00:07:54] Speaker D: I'm in love with Stacy's going on Stacy's mom has got it going on Stacy's mom has got it going on Stacy, do you remember when I mowed your lawn? [00:08:10] Speaker B: Mowed your lawn? [00:08:13] Speaker D: Your mom came out with just a towel I could tell she liked me from the way she stared the way she stared and the way she said, you missed a spot over there. And I know that you think it's. [00:08:38] Speaker E: Just a fantasy but since your dad. [00:08:41] Speaker D: Walked out your mom could use a guy like me. Stacey's mom has got it going on she's all I want and I've waited for so long Stacy, can't you see? You're just not the girl for me. [00:08:56] Speaker E: I know it might be wrong but. [00:09:57] Speaker F: She says she's no good with words but I mean worse but they started out a joke of a romantic stuck to my tongue weighed down with words too overdramatic tonight it's a cat get much worse worse no one should. [00:10:13] Speaker E: Ever feel like I'm too corners and a heart down? And I don't want to forget how your voice sounds. These words are all I have to write down. Even just to get by. [00:10:25] Speaker B: This is the way. [00:10:49] Speaker F: You are. Always fold just before you found one. Now drink up. Its last call, last resort, but only the first mistake. [00:10:58] Speaker E: I'm too portal and I hard down. [00:10:59] Speaker D: And I don't want to forget how your voice sounds. [00:11:02] Speaker E: These words are all I have. So write them so you need them. Just to get by. [00:11:18] Speaker B: To have time. You love to leave. Since this is the way they love it. Misery love me. Why don't you show me the little bit you've been saving for exaggeration. I only want sympathy in the form of you crawling into bed with me. [00:12:41] Speaker G: Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me. I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed. She was looking kind of dumb with her feet and a thumb in the shape of an l on her forehead. Well, the years start coming and they don't stop coming. Fed to the rules and I hit the ground running. Didn't make sense not to live. [00:13:05] Speaker E: Full fun. [00:13:06] Speaker G: Your brain gets smart, but your head gets dumb. So much to do, so much to see. So what's wrong with taking the back streets? You'll never know if you don't go. You'll never shine if you don't glow. [00:13:17] Speaker H: Hey now, you're an all star. Get your game on, go play. Hey now, you're a rock star. Get the show on, get paid. [00:13:27] Speaker B: All that winners is gone. [00:13:30] Speaker E: Only shooting stars break the mo. [00:13:35] Speaker G: It's a cool place, and they say it gets colder. You're bundled up now, wait till you get older. But the media man begs to differ. Judging by the hole in the satellite picture, the ice we skate is getting pretty thin. The water's getting warm, so you might as well swim. But world's on fire. How about yours? That's the way I like it. And I'll never get bored. [00:13:53] Speaker H: Hey now, you're an all star. Get your game on, go play. Hey now, you're a rock star. Get the show on, get paid. [00:14:06] Speaker E: Only shooting stuff, bring them. Then she leaves for me. Says she leads for me. You Asian who won't motivate. [00:14:54] Speaker D: She comes out and she goes out to me. [00:14:57] Speaker E: And I'll make you smile like a drug for you. Do what you want to do. Coming over, you keep on smiling. What we go through, one stop, through the rhythm that divides you. And it speaks to you like the code to the birds. Drop another line like a total with the curse coming like a freak show takes the stage we give them the games they play say I want something to get me through this semi song kind of life baby, baby I want something else I'm not listening when you. [00:15:29] Speaker B: Say goodbye. [00:15:41] Speaker E: The sky was gold, it was rose I was taking tips of it to my nose and no wish I could get back there someplace back there smiling in the pictures you would take lift you up until you break it won't stop I won't come down and keep stopped with the TikTok with them I bump for the drop and then I bumped up I took the hit that I was giving then I bumped again then I bumped again how. [00:16:01] Speaker D: Do I get back there to the. [00:16:03] Speaker E: Place where I fell asleep inside you? How do I get myself back to the place where you said I want someday else to get me through this send me some kind of light baby, baby I want something else I'm not lifting when you say goodbye I believe in the sand beneath my toes the beach gives a feeling and a defeating I believe in the faith that grows and the black girls can make me cry when I'm with you I feel like I could die and that would be all right all right and when the blanket lifts she said she was crossing the belly ripped in the sea which is on the earth to feel alive look up around the belly face down on the mattress one and you hold me. It was 1989, my thoughts were short, my hair was long. Caught somewhere between eight boy and man she was 17 and she was far from in between. It was summertime in northern Michigan splashing through the sandbar, talking about a campfire. It's the simple things in life like when and where we didn't have no Internet. But, man, I never will forget the way the moonlight shined upon her hair. And we were trying different things and we were smoking funny things, making love. I bob a lake to our favorite song sipping whiskey out the bottom not thinking about tomorrow singing sweet home Alabama all summer long. Don't write yourself off yet it's only in your head to feel it look out or look down on just try your best, try everything you can and don't you worry what they tell themselves with your own way it just takes some time. A little girl in a little outdoor ride just fine. Elephant, elephant will be all right all right. You know they're all the same. You know you're doing better on your own so don't buy live right now, yeah, just be yourself. It doesn't matter if it's good enough to someone else? It just takes some time to? Little girl in a little outdoor ride? And everything will be just fine? Everything will be all right? It just takes some time? Little grill in a little out the ride? [00:19:58] Speaker B: All right? [00:20:23] Speaker E: Hey, don't write yourself off? It's only in your head to feel left out? Look down on? Just do your best? [00:20:35] Speaker B: Just do your best? [00:20:37] Speaker E: Take everything you can? And don't you worry what their bitter heart is gonna say? It just takes some time to go? A little out the ride? Elvis and Elvis and will be just like? Elvis and Elvis and will be all right? [00:20:57] Speaker B: All right? [00:20:58] Speaker E: It just takes some time? Little girl in a little out the ride? Elvis and Elvis and will be just fine? Everything will be all right?
